person because of the great lenses they have and great photos they take. The portability of cellphone cameras made all the difference.

I agree that the availability made it easier for people to explore their creative side and some do that fairly well, we wouldn't see the world through their eyes had it not been for their smartphones. It was inevitable, just like the guides on how to photoshop without Photoshop (like this one here ). People like what's available and they'll use it, so the market has to keep up with the trends. Adobe has just announced Photoshop for Android which is going to be the huge success, because the users actually need it.
